The United States won the Ryder Cup at the Ocean Course in 1991, Rory McIlroy had a record-setting performance in 2012 to win the PGA Championship and Phil Mickelson became the oldest Major Championship winner ever in 2021 when he won his second Wanamaker Trophy.
