The stars may be aligning for Rory McIlroy's return to Valhalla, the site of his last Major Championship in 2014.
McIlroy ran away from Xander Schauffele with a 6-under 65 in the final round at Quail Hollow to win the event for the fourth time in his career.
"Going to a venue next week where I've won, it feels like the stars are aligning a little, but I've got a lot of golf to play and a lot of great players to try to beat next week," McIlroy said during his post-round interview. "Going into the next Major of the year feeling really good about myself."
